So, this was a quicky I did for a contest that Shag was holding - he remixed the OOT soundtrack and called it 'Flyrule' and it's friggin AMAAAZIINNGG and you should go listen to it. Google it, I'm too lazy haha

ANYWAY he's releasing Flyrule 2 tonight from the Majora's Mask ost and he had a contest for free download. The idea was simply hip hop Legend of Zelda. Seemed like a fun idea, so this is what I did. Zelda isn't actually in the game, otherwise I'd have drawn her. But I was pretty proud of how this came out for how fast I churned it out. And thank god for textures, since I didn't have time to color it ha!

Ooh new remixes~! I really need to search for some more of those. In the mood for videogame music right now. I'm hooked on the Darksiders II soundtrack right now, by Jesper Kyd. It's wonderful stuff!

I like how tight your line work is!! You've got a very distinct line. I like the idea of a hoodlum Link, haha. Is that Farore on his sleeve tattoo? I love the symbols you put into this!

I can't wait to get back into drawing. I've been doing so much writing, which is wonderful, but I've barely drawn in the last few months. I still have some clothing designs in mind for your characters.

His tattoos actually read Hyrule and Termina, which is the land where Majora's Mask takes place!

I'm totally checking that out (I saved a link to the site yesterday actually when I first read your reply, love the art!), along with Flyrule. I need more tunes for traveling back and forth to school. The commute is so boring some days without it!

Nice~! I forgot the name of the town from Majora's Mask. I never finished that game, although I wanted to. It felt way longer than Ocarina of Time for some reason.
